YOUR BEHIND THE SCENES LOOK AT FILMS NOT COMING SOON TO A THEATER NEAR YOU...This blog is dedicated to promoting the art of independent filmmaking. The films profiled here are conceived and created outside the studio system and are brought to you, the public, without the aid of a major distributor. Though they might experience a limited theatrical release, they will largely be available to wider audiences through outlets like Netflix, YouTube or by direct purchase.

Fruita Screening of DAISY BATES

Just a reminder for those living in the Grand Junction area that you can catch a screening of DAISY BATES:  FIRST LADY OF LITTLE ROCK this coming Wednesday at 6:30 pm at Cavalcade in Fruita. I will be there after the film to discuss my interview with the film's director, Sharon La Cruise.

Also, my former REEL TIME partner, Stacy Schoolfield, and I, are tentatively planning a screening of WHERE SOLDIERS COME FROM, which just won an Independent Spirit Truer than Fiction award!

Stay tuned for details.  I will be profiling this film as my February selection...
