A wonder woman on WONDER WOMEN...ok, maybe slight exaggeration there...
Join the discussion tonight in Grand Junction when PBS and ITVS present WONDER WOMEN! THE UNTOLD STORY OF THE AMERICAN SUPERHEROINE, a lighthearted look at a serious and complex issue. What a better way to explore the ever-evolving societal view of women's liberation than a study of the iconic comic book character and her portrayal throughout the years.
Reception starts at 6:30pm in the Academic Classroom Building at CMU at the corner of Elm and Cannell (read: free wine and munchies). Movie at 7pm in room 111. Plenty of free parking!
